Internal maintenance and guaranteed operational continuity

Since its inception, IRCI has considered it essential to complement its EPC activities with an in-house preventive and corrective maintenance service. This allows us to guarantee our customers reliability, continuity of operation, and constant technical support, as well as generating operational feedback that fuels continuous improvement in design.

Our operations center employs only direct staff, who are able to intervene throughout the country. We provide assistance and maintenance services only on our own systems—mechanical, cogeneration, and photovoltaic—to protect the quality standards and identity of the IRCI brand.

We have also developed proprietary remote control and monitoring systems that allow us to check the operating status of the systems in real time. Having a single point of contact, who has been familiar with the system since the design phase, means faster response times and a higher level of reliability over time.
Maintenance of mechanical systems is essential to ensure continuity, safety, and operational efficiency. IRCI offers preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance services, including periodic checks, advanced diagnostics, and timely interventions, with the aim of preventing breakdowns and minimizing downtime. We have always believed in a full-service approach, which allows customers to rely on a defined annual budget, without unexpected events and with full visibility of management costs. This model is still not widely used in the mechanical plant sector, but IRCI is able to offer it thanks to over 50 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the plants it designs and builds. The service is complemented by real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and customized solutions for every type of plant and industrial sector. This integrated approach ensures regulatory compliance, performance optimization, and long-term operational continuity.
For cogeneration and trigeneration plants, IRCI provides a full-service dedicated to its plants, up to the first general overhaul of the engine. We work on Jenbacher, MWM, and Rolls-Royce engines, in partnership with their respective parent companies. The service includes 24/7 monitoring and remote control, supported by an operations center that constantly supervises the status of the plants. We perform preventive and corrective maintenance with response times throughout the country within 24 hours. Maintenance also includes the management of plants and auxiliary components: electrical switchgear, pumps and central equipment, regulatory adjustments, oil changes, and overhaul work. The goal is to guarantee a truly comprehensive service, with a fixed fee that allows the customer to have certain costs throughout the entire life cycle of the system (typically 10-12 years). Thanks to a flexible structure and consolidated plant engineering expertise, we also support the customer with reporting and analysis systems, which are useful for building a predictive plan and promptly identifying any anomalies.
We have always combined CHP contracts for photovoltaic systems with O&M contracts for preventive and corrective maintenance of these systems. We believe that for this type of system, where energy production does not depend on a constant factor, it is essential to keep the systems in good working order and ready to handle stressful situations, high temperatures, and sudden climate changes. Our facility has an operations center capable of supervising the plants through our monitoring system and is able to support customers throughout the country, with the ability to intervene within 24 hours. Our service allows us to monitor performance, verifying that it is in line with expectations, guarantees prompt intervention in the event of a failure, and provides for annual checks required by law, so as to ensure the efficiency and safety of the energy technology.
