Turnkey photovoltaic systems, with direct control of every phase.
IRCI was one of the first companies in Italy to believe in photovoltaics: since 2006, we have been designing, building, and maintaining large-scale complex systems. We have installed over 98 MW of rooftop and ground-mounted systems, including agri-solar and agri-voltaic solutions.
Our strength lies in vertical integration: we manage design, construction, and support in-house, and we also manufacture strategic components for the systems. At IRCI Officine, we design and manufacture dedicated support structures and metalwork, guaranteed by our company, so that the system can be adapted to any surface and installation constraints. To speed up installations and optimize overall efficiency, we also manufacture cabinets and substations consisting of: electrical panels, transformers, LV/MV transformation systems, and auxiliary panels.
We develop utility-scale solutions and ground-mounted parks, with structures and solar trackers designed to operate up to 4.5 meters above the ground, allowing for soil cultivation in agrivoltaic applications. Over time, expertise and reliability have made IRCI a benchmark for companies and investors looking for a partner capable of guaranteeing results and continuity. To complete the service, we develop an open monitoring system, which becomes the property of the customer, to ensure full transparency on the performance and management of the plant.

Companies and ESCOs turn to IRCI to make their facilities more efficient and decarbonize them. In this context, we act as a system integrator, developing integrated photovoltaic solutions that enhance existing roofs and improve the overall energy performance of the production site. We design module anchoring systems according to the type of surface, study ventilation solutions to increase performance, and create dedicated walkways for panel maintenance and cleaning. The result is a safe, accessible system designed to maintain performance and reliability over time.
Since 2020, IRCI has been supporting private investors in the development of large ground-mounted photovoltaic plant pipelines, taking on the complete management of the projects. We operate as a single point of contact, following all stages: authorization procedures, design, construction, and maintenance of the plants. We develop solutions with both fixed structures and solar trackers, in full compliance with NTC 2018 and current regulations. Our projects are designed with a modular and replicable approach, conceived to ensure standardization, reliability, and scalability over large areas. In utility-scale projects, IRCI supports the investor, leaving them with the strategic and financial role, while taking care of all technical, authorization, and operational aspects. This model reduces complexity, time, and risk, ensuring continuity and control over the entire life cycle of the plant.
Thanks to our Innovation Hub, we have been able to experiment and test solutions from leading BESS manufacturers, validating architectures, performance, and control logic in the field. This process has enabled us to launch the first installations of storage systems to support industrial facilities in 2024, with the aim of optimizing self-consumption, reducing power peaks, and improving the energy stability of the plant.
IRCI is your single point of contact for integrated BESS projects: load profile analysis, feasibility studies and business plans, design, installation, and support. Solutions can be integrated with photovoltaic systems and monitoring/EMS systems to maximize operational efficiency and energy management.
In addition to the industrial sector, we also develop storage systems for utility-scale applications, where the ability to manage energy dynamically—and therefore arbitrage between bands and markets—will become an increasingly decisive factor.
IRCI acts as a point of reference in the management of revamping projects for photovoltaic systems that have experienced a decline in performance, suffered breakdowns, extraordinary events, or have reached the end of their incentive period. We operate with a structured approach, aimed at restoring performance, reliability, and operational continuity.
Our method is systematic: we analyze the current state of the system, check the available documentation and, where possible, analyze production data and the causes of degradation. We then develop a solution that, as far as possible, involves the recovery of components that are still suitable (e.g., fastening systems and structures), which we are able to adapt and integrate into new plant configurations.
For plants still receiving incentives, we also manage the procedures and communications required by the GSE, supporting the customer in the activities necessary for the correct handling of the paperwork and compliance of the intervention.
